The Nutmeg State Blue Star Mothers partner with many groups and organizations in the support of our troops, Veterans, and military families. And we need your help.

We volunteer and participate in events, we give necessary physical items and care packages needed for our troops and Veterans, and we contribute monetary donations that are asked of us. To maintain the level of volunteerism that makes this organization so great we are much much dependent on the generosity and contributions of others.

Any items or financial contributions that are donated to the Nutmeg State Blue Star Mothers goes directly to the work that we do and to those that we support. No Blue Star Mother ever receives financial or material payment for the work she does for the organization. Our job is the care and support of our troops, military families, and honored Veterans.

Are you a runner or a good cook? Are you great at wrapping gifts, play an instrument, or maybe own a pickup truck and have a whole Saturday free? Volunteering your time and talent is a great way to get involved. Please contact us and ask how you can help. We’d love to hear from you.

In Memoriam

There are many ways to make “in memoriam” donations in honor of a fallen hero. The whats and hows of this type of donation are often times a deeply personal decision on your part. Please contact us so we can help you ensure your donation is carried out properly, appropriately, and with the degree of honor and respect our heroes deserve.

Recently, due to increased mail restrictions, the U.S. Postal Service will no longer deliver packages addressed to Any Service Member or Any Wounded Service Member. Instead, the Pentagon has asked that anyone looking to donate or contribute should contact their local Non-Profit Organization and ask how you can help.
